The Academic Athlete - Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

The Academic Athlete is excited to celebrate the opening of our new event space on Tuesday, September 22 at 1:30 PM at 221 West Philadelphia Street, Suite 12, York, PA 17401.

The Academic Athlete was created from the belief that every student should know there are multiple pathways to success. The same discipline, sacrifice, consistency, and resilience they bring to the court or field can be applied to their academics and future—opening doors to opportunities and ultimately the life they deserve.

Lifestyle Defined by Mindset is at the heart of who we are. We want to provide students with resources, visibility, opportunities, and encouragement while helping them recognize that athletics can be part of their journey, but it doesn’t have to be their only pathway.

We chose Downtown York because we wanted to create a positive, visible space for our youth in the heart of the community—a place where academic achievement is celebrated.
